Product Description
PET filament nonwoven geotextile plays an important role in civil engineering around the world thanks to its stable performance and excellent properties. We have provided this product for many years for our domestic and abroad clients. Nearly all of them give good feedback toward our products usage.
PET Filament Nonwoven Geotextile Introduction
PET filament nonwoven geotextiles are continuous sheets of nonwoven fibers. The sheets are flexible and permeable and generally has the appearance of a fibric.
They are made from 100% polyester (PET) continuous fiber without chemical additives. Geotextiles production flow is spinning, lapping and needle punched by our advanced equipment.
Geotextiles are used for separation, filtration, drainage, reinforcement and erosion control applications.
Because of fiber and processing way differences, the tensile strength, elongation, puncture resistance is much better than PET short filament nonwoven geotextile.
PET Filament Geotextile Functions
1. Prevent the intermixing of dissimilar soil layers.
2. Collect and transport fluids within its own thickness.
3. Allow the passage of fluids (most commonly water) while preventing the uncontrolled passage of soil particles.
4. Resist stresses or contain deformations in soil structures.
5. Prevent or reduce damage to an adjacent surface or layer.
